Cancelled

When we first came to the Estate, there was a community Christmas celebration every year. Two years ago Covid put a stop to that. This year we thought we would be able to revive the Christmas celebration, but the numbers in our latest Covid wave are still climbing and residents are anxious that, if they get Covid so close to Christmas, they will spoil their own or their families’ Christmas plans. So very reluctantly today we sent out the ‘Cancelled’ notices. Surely next year? (We won’t be there though.)
