Wires In The Sky
I had to post a couple of cards to Germany this afternoon. I think they should get there before Christmas. I left mrsfb plodding on with the other UK cards. I will write my 2 or 3 tomorrow.
On my way back I was on the look out for an interesting sky photo for Wide Wednesday. At least there was a sky (unlike Monday when there was no sun to be seen) but it wasn't doing much. Lovely and clear, and very blue but no clouds, no birds and only a few planes. I was going to edit out the wires from this but it took ages to edit out all the sensor dust spots, and I decided to leave them in, otherwise there would have been very little there. I waited in case a bird decided to pose, but there was nothing doing.
I bumped into a friend outside the church who asked if I was going to the Teatime Classics concert there. Not my thing at all, though I was almost tempted by the tea and cakes afterwards. I'd forgotten anyway that we have Historical Society AGM and quiz (always much too hard for us) this evening and a glass of wine is promised. So we will be doing a bit of socialising.
In other news my WD-40 came this afternoon. The can I had been using for the last 10 years or more finally gave up the ghost. It still feels half full but the aerosol doesn't work any more. I already have several jobs lined up for it.
