Sam's Spot

Visited the church cemetery today. I used a red notebook to mark a space. This is where Sam's ashes will be interred. We are now awaiting the stone mason. After the mason completes the stone's cutting, we will place the granite square, here, over the urn.

I'm told grief never goes away. They say a person just learns how to live with ever present loss and tears. Tear seem always  just beneath the surface.

He's been gone a month. That's not even a speck in eternity... and I know eternal "whys" and "what ifs," will last forever, as will memories of his love… forever..
