Deep Frostiness

These were the conditions at work today.  These particular woods turn out to be in a real frost pocket.  Everyone was well dressed though, and we kept busy and moving through the morning.  The children discovered that the green wood chip piles were boiling hot inside, and once opened up could give you a face sauna, warm your feet and were like mini steaming volcanoes.  I was outside for 5.5 hours was so glad to get home for a cup of tea.
Later on went to collect M from work and cooked up a nice tea.
