Newly renovated

Out this morning to pick up a Christmas tree. Last year we discovered a young farmer who was growing his own. So pleased with the quality we returned this year. Same price as last year which was a pleasant surprise. We left the boot open to load. The farm cat seemed to prefer it to the cold farm yard! Fortunately discovered by the farmers wife before we left.

Out for a walk in the sunshine which gave me a chance to see this cottage. Originally rather ramshackle it has been upgraded. Not sure if it was the estate or whether private owners have done the work. Either way I approve of the work. It has a wonderful aspect overlooking the railway.
