Oops!

Getting lazy (lazier), should really have double checked those German recipe spoon sizes before starting! Despite that though, today’s batches of Plätzchen turned out fine (extras), especially the Kaffeesand which are melt-in-the-mouth-butteriness, if a bit heavy on the cocoa! The other batch aren’t a German recipe (Cardamom and Coffee Shortbread) but Hey, who’s checking?
On the aquarium front, the air pump arrived and the fish are having to get used to a steady stream of bubbles. Some seem more interested than others but the Rummy Nose Tetra is definitely not interested - the bubble stream shot its wee corpse up to the surface! I wondered what had happened to it. It did well though, last survivor of a shoal introduced to the tank many years ago. RIP wee Tetra (Rest in Plumbing).
