Reed Bunting

My trip to Longham Lakes was shorter than planned, due to various frustrations, mostly centred around traffic and parking. When I finally got there, I found that the battery I'd put in as fresh was, instead, on 20% charge and diminishing rapidly. I'm not sure how that happened, as I consider myself to be pretty careful in my battery-charging routine! 

I was really pleased to see this little chap before my battery died completely. Not a bird I see very often, so I was very happy to see him stripping the seeds from the grasses.
