Kendal Parish Church concert

We have had a delightful evening. The Royal Northern Sinfonia played us a lovely concert including Corelli and Bach. There was a solo violin introduction who processed down the nave.
We had mulled wine and mince pies in the interval!
And there is a lovely display of decorated Christmas trees that have been produced by various school groups to raise money for their charities. This star is made from recycled crisp packets! And the owl in extra is a toilet roll creation.
There is a free Messian organ recital on Sunday afternoon so I think we will be going to that too!
