The king

Went out litter-picking with the WoL crew and was rewarded above and beyond the usual cup of tea and broken biscuits.

Firstly saw my first earthstar (was going to say 'in the wild', but it was in the playpark by Aldi): see extra.

And then we had a good look at the kingfisher, who was fishing close by where I previously blipped him. This was the closest I got, but at least his colour shows up well in the shade. Do check out Sheol's blip from yesterday for a close-up, though!
