Airport facilities in Iceland

The flight back to Edinburgh is delayed by an hour or probably on account of ice in Scotland so at 11am the sun has almost risen and it looks like being another spectacular day.
Keflavik airport is one of the better places to wait for a flight. The coffee and food (American pancakes with crispy bacon and syrup) is excellent value. The bathrooms walls in the departure gate are decorated with photographs of seabirds. The best one in my opinion, a puffin, is in the cleaners’ cupboard – the door was ajar and the picture obscured by cleaning paraphernalia. And the WiFi is super fast and without time limit.
With luck I should be home by teatime, in time to join a zoom session on “running slower if you want to get faster”. I can certainly do the first bit.
