Cloud Howe
Sunshine and showers today.
Spent the day clearing paperwork
and trying to prepare for a change of syllabus.
It's not often you get time for reflection.
The sun breaking through the clouds south of Aberdeen.
You can't see The Mearns without thinking of Lewis Grassic Gibbon
The soil in the foreground is newly ploughed
and an intense red colour, peculiar to the Mearns.
It was so intense, that it looked just wrong
against the bright green of the spring grass.
However, the tonal contrast was strong enough
to create a good mono image.
Looking forward to a relaxing weekend.
