The independent store

One of the things I like about Ross on Wye is that the town has everything you need, yet it is still a very individual small town, with plenty of independent small shops. This one proudly proclaims it's independence above the door and has this super facade of old product advertising signs. Big store chains, with their standardised shopfronts and signage, just can't compete with the charm of the best of the independent traders like this.
