Whammed

Popped into Bob's Record Mart whilst in Nottingham to find a few fun items for our vinyl club xmas party this weekend. On entering was mightly relieved to be directed to a separate box of xmas albums and singles and picked out:

*Paddy Roberts - Merry Christmas You Suckers (1962 - star find. Music Hall style - the lyrics are brilliant)   Merry Christmas You Suckers – Paddy Roberts

*Wham - Last Christmas / Everything She Wants  (In the days of double A sides. Star find as we've been playing a Wham themed Xmas game). I'll donate it as an annual trophy.

* The Wombles - Wombling Merry Christmas

* Kid Creole & The Coconuts - Christmas on Riverside Drive (picture sleeve is the best thing about it)  

A highly sensory and intimate experience everytime you had to pass anyone in the shop! There were 4 of us in there at one point.

Wellness - Botox Clinic
Mrs M joined me at QMC hospital today for my quarterly appointment with my consultant who is also Neurology Head of Service to assist with talking about my worsening functional eating problem. Showing him a one-take selfie video of me eating earlier immediately delivered the message. We considered and agreed to me having mild injections in my neck - the first for about a year. More importantly he has referred me back to speech therapy (albeit for a slightly different reason). I suspect a more cognitive approach is needed, whether it is with them or another specialist.
