Cold!

Today we woke to the first frost this Winter here in West Essex and goodness was it cold!  My abstract today is, for me, surprisingly unfaffed with: frosty sedum flower heads against a muted selection of leaves that are still clinging on with Autumn colours.  I'm afraid that I failed to follow Ingeborg's suggested theme of 'Abstract Selfie' but this image appealed to me most today.
In other news:  Mr MC has his birthday today which we celebrated with a family meal at an Italian restaurant followed by drinks at a wonderful pub, both in Waltham Abbey.  I've taken lots of shots with my phone of the beautifully lit pedestrianised High Street so one may appear as an extra later!
