Breaking bread...back blip
Our Thanksgiving host gave us a sour dough starter that is 160 years old originating in Italy. I am not a baker but gave it a try. The bread was tasty but I should have used bread flower and baked it on the light setting. It was a new and fun experiment and I plan to give it another try.
The extra is a handsome blue jay visiting the feeder for peanuts.
