I must be feeling brave today to post a selfie but my desire to share my favorite holiday shirt with Pooh and Piglet outweighed any reservations. Believe me, I will feel very differently later, LoL! What was I thinking?!? • Moving quickly to #17 on our Top 25 Christmas Song List: Do You Hear What I Hear? with lyrics by Noel Regney and music by Gloria Shain, 1962. Married at the time it was written as a plea for peace during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Regney was also inspired by the babies being pushed in their strollers along the sidewalks of NYC • It was released shortly after Thanksgiving that year, sung by Harry Simeone’s Choral Group, selling 250,000 copies • The following year it became a hit when Bing released his version in October, then performed it live on Bob Hope’s Holiday Special in December • Regney said his favorite version was released in 1968 by Robert Goulet • We purchased a real tree for our outdoor patio. Thanks to a bright sunny day the solar lights should shine brightly tonight! • Peace and Love To All!
