A wall
Clickychick and I needed a shopping expedition to Carlisle. So we were off trying to be in the town soon after 9:00 before the parking got difficult. The first stop was the town centre and the first shop hadn't even opened when we tried the door! Then it was out to B&Q not terribly successful of the three or four things we were after we got one. Then on to an out of the town centre store for something the Lodge needed and a very pleasant lunch at a good price.
Finally, we had a quick coffee stop at Houghton garden centre. Where CC made some purchases that may turn out to be Christmas presents for her. I hoped to be able to get a blip at the centre but there were extremely few flowers. This wall always catches my eye, it is quite high (3 or 4m) and made up of open blocks. I have seen these blocks used for planting in small walls but no walls as large as this. The texture and patterns are what catches my eye.
