A cold and frosty morning

The tub of fresh water I put out was well used this very frosty morning. (I really need to clean our hall windows before I take any more shots from indoors.)

I spent a bit of time today cleaning out all the bird feeders and re- siting the bird table. A lunchtime visit to our favourite local independent garden centre resulted in some new superior bird feeders which hopefully will be easier to clean out. We also bought more battery coloured fairy lights for our hedge. When it was a new baby hedge two years ago two strings of lights seemed fine. This year it is a gangly adolescent hedge so more lights have been purchased.
