Behind in Front

Chilly grey day as expected but no snow down to us. I think we managed 9C.
After a trip to my doctor and before a visit for Mother to her dental technician we bought our daily coffee and sat in the carpark above the Esplanade watching the waves pound against the seawall and the gulls wheeling and crying in the wind.
There were a couple of hardy souls out surfing!!! - madness and this was the view from my position in our car looking in their left side mirror. The building reflected therein is a up-market hotel who do a respectable coffee and sweet nibbles and have an elevated view, out over the ocean, from their dining room.
