The Beavers Prepare For Christmas

A really cold day today.  It won't get above freezing all day but at least there is no snow in the immediate future.  This beaver pond near me is getting a thin coating of ice but it hasn't stopped the beavers from getting ready for Christmas!  They may be as busy as, well, beavers but I will be taking it easy, packing one last package to mail on Monday while visions of the Christmas lights in Boston dance in my head!  I can't wait for Tuesday when I take the train from Portland!  I love the extra...could there have been any doubt?
