i wonder how long i'll be able to keep up with poaching him 1 chicken and some lean steak mince every week.  to be accompanied by steamed veg.
apart from my time, i don't think it will cost much more than bought dog food.

the kitchen smells deliciously of cloves and herbs - we will have a constant supply of excellent stock.
