Outlander dug

This where the Ardoch Burn meets the River Teith, next to the sewerage works and very close to Doune Castle. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if in due course the area becomes a beaver habitat; the latest official Scottish release is on the Argaty estate just 2 miles upstream from here. Islay thoroughly enjoyed herself and was happy to snooze in the car while we all looked round Doune Castle. Liv enjoyed hauling herself up all the stone steps and seems already to have a good head for heights.
Doune Castle is where Monty Python and Holy Grail was filmed, and bits of GoT and Outlander, not that I’ve seen either of those. Good to hear some Gaelic on the audio guide.
