Morning pick me up after nightmare drive from Edinburgh. City bypass slip closed and extra 6 miles to join M8. Good progress until Harthill, temp -7C windscreen wash froze. Traffic slowed to crawl then exit diversion, motorway closed! 6 police cars flashing blue lights without purpose added to the drama.
