‘Snow Underfoot’

Fresh snow underfoot for parkrun this morning, lovely and crunchy to run on! 

The snow had started before we set off and turned into a blizzard that continued up to the moment we arrived. The parkrun fairy had done their job, however, leaving us with a beautifully white promenade and a beautifully white beach too!

I’m recovering from Covid (fortunately very mild - the wonder of vaccines) so had decided to take my first parkrun for a couple of weeks very slow indeed. But because threre were half the usual number of people there - put off by the weather, no doubt - I was in my highest place for several years!
