Santa’s escort

A visit from Santa this evening. He is always escorted by the village fire service to make sure that everyone is aware. It provides time to get coats on, for the audience to gather on the pavement and not get too cold.

A sewing day today, with the bonus of lunchtime nibbles. We had lots of chat and not a great deal of stitching to show for the time spent. We were well wrapped up to try to keep warm. I took my wheat beanie to put on my lap to help keep my fingers functioning.
