Oh dear the penalty gremlin strikes again

Went off to London today. Very chilly start but good train journey in.

Discovered that are railway line will have no Chiltern Railways trains running after Banbury from the 13th December to 8th January ( March was my error ) due to Industrial action. This covers Leamington Spa, Warwick up to Birmingham.
No mention of this in the news so it looks like we will have to use GWR from Evesham to get to and from London.

London rammed with people. Liberty and Fortnum and Mason were overrun.

Had to stand for an hour on the train ride back. What a service!!!!

Arrived home to discover France were 1 nil up. The rest is history. The French just seemed to have some sparkle that eluded England. I’m sure the Ref will take some stick but if you miss a penalty and don’t equalise then the gods are not with you.

However Cardiff Devils beat the Belfast Giants 4-2 so some good news.
