is there a problem here?

I have trained Laney to stop barking at squirrels when they run across our back deck. The peace and quiet in our house is nice, but an unexpected result is that the squirrels are starting to make themselves at home now! Today this black squirrel (a melanistic Fox squirrel) spent the day bringing pinecones onto the deck to feast upon and left a big mess.
So yes, there is a problem here!
