Portobello Beach Edinburgh Day 255

With the whole bay to play with I was surprised to see how close these two craft came to colliding this morning. It reminds us all of the dangers of setting forth into the Forth or any other waters for that matter. As I ran this morning, prompted by the sight of the sailing dingy, I was thinking of the tragedies that had unfolded this week, first with a rib on The Camel Estuary in Cornwall and then the loss of one of GB's Olympian sailors, Andrew Simpson, off the coast of San Fransisco training for The America's Cup.
