Country breakfast
I forget that there would be a free breakfast in the square as part of the Fête de la Belle Epoque. This consisted of little toasts of paté and jam and went under the rather grand name of a petit déjeuner gourmand et compagnard. Madame le Maire was involved again (centre). She loves all the dressing up I am told. Then it was coffee in the square with friends in the sunshine so an altogether pleasant morning.
I think I will do some French study this afternoon. I have been doing some TCF (Test de Connaissance du Français practice tests and keep coming out at a B2/C1. I should like to get to a C2 but that might require some serious application!
