A tale of two weather systems

At least that’s what it looks like

It’s a funny time of year where one side of the valley seems to always look dark, shadowy and sometimes full of dark blue hues. The cold side seems to be coated in a kind of permafrost all day whereas the opposite side, on a sunny day, looks golden and woody. It’s such a stark contrast. I’m grateful to be in the sunny side.
