Watching England's match against France today confirmed one two things to me.
Fire.
And passion.

Southgate doesn't install either of these two attributes into his players.
Ferguson, Shankley, Clough, are all names that come to mind when I think about passion. Southgate wouldn't get aeriated if he spilled red wine on his new white shirt.
The players need a leader, the talent is there, the belief needs to be there also.
And that's where he comes up waay short.
It's time for him to be out otherwise the next tournament will be rinse and repeat.
