Lift 109

A few weeks ago we visited the newly opened (re-opened?) Battersea Power Station building. We'd spotted the upcoming opening of Lift 109, a lift inside one of the iconic chimneys although it was yet to open. Annie kept a keen eye on the details and as soon as it did open, she booked us in when we could get there. We had a few errands to run yesterday so ended up parking at Hatfield station (free EV charging!!) and went in from there. The lift is fabulous as you actually emerge from the top of the chimney in the lift itself with a 360 degree panoramic view of London. The collective "whoah" as we emerged at the top was very appropriate. Although you don't stay at the top very long, it is fabulous and well worth the visit.
