Cipher

One of the more modern post boxes (LB3426). I always wondered when this design was introduced whether it was to enable the royal cipher (as a separate steel plate, rather than built into the casting of the box) to be changed when the time came. I guess now we may find out. 

I headed up to Ben Rhydding for some football as every other game in the district was called off because of frozen pitches. Ilkley Town’s artificial surface is cold weather proof.  I wrapped up well.

Ilkley went a goal down to AFC Blackpool against the run of play, but scored twice in the last ten minutes to secure a win.
