Still walking on ice

Looking towards the sun the birds all look black so recognition by shape is necessary …… this is a Black-headed Gull looking at his own reflection and just wishing that someone would throw some food onto the ice.

The afternoon has just disappeared and I’m off now to collect sis who is coming to our church Carols by Candlelight service which starts at 5 o’clock.
