Hyacinths

I decided to rescue this sad little potted viola and bring it indoors when I  noticed a couple of hyacinths, I think, beginning to come through.  I must have put a couple of odd bulbs in there when I planted out the main ones earlier in the year. 
Woke up to a dusting of snow and it's been no more than 1C all day. Tomorrow is forecast for -3C and I'm  concerned about walking to craft group at 9.0am...don't want to miss the last class of this year!...
