Hoar frost

It's been bitterly cold and this morning the ground and trees were so white that it felt like we'd had snow.  It was beautiful to see the frost had built on even the flimsiest of spider threads like this one here on our washing line.

A busy day preparing the house for a busy week ahead.

The thick frost also inspired a creative late night artist on one of the cars parked on the drive (see extra).
