Trial run of a new permanent orienteering course I'm getting set up on the old naturally re-wilded golf course. A few of us who can vaguely work a map and/or run a bit have had a good go and we've thought pretty hard about a mix of easy and tricky and think we've got the balance. 

The S2 group today were terrible, but enthusiastic and would be aright if we had time.  Mental nite for me...When PE teachers (who think they can do outdoorsy stuff) say they've done orienteering in PE , I probably shouldn't fully believe them.
