Well, that was a surprise!

We had a yellow weather warning for snow overnight, but I didn’t for one minute think it would come to anything! Only about an inch of snow, but enough to make the garden look pretty, and show the tracks of the birds and squirrels, with yesterday’s ice cap on the Abelia being replaced today by a snowy bonnet.

Our wonderful next door neighbours had invited us out to Sunday lunch at a restaurant in town, but ten minutes before we were due to leave, Dad took a tumble (thankfully just bruised and shocked) so that was the end of that plan.
