Piece a pizza?

Church this morning with rather a down turn in emotiond since our friend's death yesterday. Rather a shame as many celebrate this as Gaudete Sunday. The Sunday where Advent begins to look forward to Christmas and the theme is Joy. It was good to be reminded of that though.
Ali was round for the afternoon with Josie. It's been good to see lots of them while we were both home alone!
I got the outside lights spread amongst the trees in the front garden. I'm a multi - coloured lights person. They look good but not as nice as those strings of light clusters you can buy now. I may fail to resist temptation.
Isn't it very clever the way they can shine for 6 hours then be off for 18 then back on again for 6. That pleases me alongside the fact that I can use rechargeable batteries.
Colin took advantage of the improvement in the weather and drove south in daylight this afternoon. Good to have him home again. We celebrated with a home made pizza. As you can see one of us doesn't like olives!
