Out for a walk

We went for a walk down Xwaaqw'um today, a perfect temperature. 
Extras: We met Daisy the bulldog (what a face!), saw a 'hat' perched on a nesting box, and saw smoke coming out of the chimney of a boat in the bay. 
A wonderful afternoon with our young neighbours yesterday. B is an author, and she's been working hard to finish her latest book. She got excellent comments from the editor, and it's at the publisher now and should be out next fall. Quite the process to have a book published! We always enjoy time with them and will try to get together more often.
