2022 Sunday — Making it perfect

In this photo are our two oldest great-grandkids. Tristan is 15 and a sophomore in high school. Jade is 7 and in 1st grade. They also have a little sister, 3-year old Emillia, who missed being in this photo. Their mommy, our granddaughter, Desiree put these photos on her social media today.

Even though this does not show Jade’s face, I think this captures the wonder of this moment. Both kids seem mesmerized.

The two of us drove to the Staples store in San Luis Obispo this afternoon to get our annual print job completed. We also stopped at the Dollar Tree store, and we visited the local Trader Joe’s store. We managed to get a number of the things we needed before we headed back to the coast.

We’ve had more rain today and one loud thunder earlier this evening. Last night we were without power from 7:30 p.m. until 4:50 this morning. The wind blew like crazy.
