From the snug

A very dear friend who is in her 90s invited us to tea this afternoon.
We watched the sun setting across the river and loved being in her company.
Always she gives me so many reasons to be grateful and optimistic about our human lives.
And we had ginger & marmalade cake ♡
I brought her some flowers - the last of the garden reds mixed with some M&S whites.
