A Frosty, Misty Day

Sub zero temperatures here today - but out on my walk it didn’t feel too bad, as there was no wind. It was quite misty too.

I stopped in the woods to photograph this moss with its frosty coat, there are still some brown leaves about and these too had some nice frost on them. This is a nine shot focus stack…it was supposed to be ten shots but for some reason the camera has completely missed focus on the first (nearest) shot, even though I had manually focussed it beforehand!!

I have added an extra of a tree in the mist, I like the limbs that have a thick covering of ivy. There is also a tree with some brown leaves still attached and the distant woodland just visible through the mist
