Our new Installation

I am not quite sure about the line where sculptures become installations.

I am inclined to think this is the latter.

It is made from the remains of a large, ancient Walnut tree. It has recently been “ installed “ in the walled garden in Ashmeadow Woodlands which we are lucky to have in the centre of the village.

We must thank our good friend and botanist Lynne. She it was who originally commissioned  this work when she lived in Cambridge  and has generously agreed that it can now live here for the pleasure of Arnside villagers and visitors.
