Snow is here

The snow fell heavily this afternoon and into the evening. We spent the day buying and preparing for our get together with neighbours but then found, as expected, that half a dozen people cried off because of the snow. We had a good time with the people that did make it. Loads of food and drink left over, including a full pan of mulled wine that we forgot to offer people when they arrived. Should be ok to drink during the week though.
