Cruise Season
Today's Town Hall dancing included Prince Charles' Quickstep, Broons' Reel, Pickaquoy Reel, Kelpies of Loch Coruisk etc. I struggled during the Etcetera. Then, passports in hand, a dash across to catch the Hoy Ferry. After dining at the Captain's Table (think spam, lorne sausage and donkey's lung - obviously all in a bap) l went up on deck and met the Farquhar - Clynes, who had just flown in from St Tropez via Monte Carlo, for the sheer hedonism afforded by the crossing. Visas were a problem as the Purser (not of lips) spent the entire crossing in the cludgie.
Now ensconced in the Bolt Hole. CMC saw two peregrines towards Lyrawa Brae.
I may clean out the pantry the morn.
