Car
The downside of the cold overnight temperature was that the car wouldn't start when A needed to go to work. She called the RAC, and I headed out with Django. The dawn light was beautiful, and we had an enjoyable walk around the Estate. Back home, A was handling her meeting using Teams, and I had a last look over my tender documents before submitting them. The RAC replaced the battery - for more than it might have cost, but it's such a busy week that it was good to have the job done, and to be sure that the car will start tomorrow!
I then got to respond to an encouraging email with some project plans that may see the student I met in Paris doing a project with me next summer. There's a long way to go, but we're heading in the right direction for her to get significant funding to do a PhD with me.
