So far so good

I’m back home finally, after a long drive through icy foggy conditions, which has taken it out of me a bit. One of the motorways I was due to take was shut but fortunately my satnav system warned in time so I was able to go around the problem.

Back at home poor Cathy has the dreaded covid, so I suspect it’s just a question of time before she passes it to me - still, if we’re going to have it, I’d rather it was now so that it doesn’t affect our Christmas plans. I’ve just done a test to see if I caught anything while I was away as I’ve a slightly raised temperature but it’s all negative so far. I’m not sure whether to be pleased or disappointed(!) (just joking)
