Whiter than white

Not long after I posted yesterday’s blip it started to snow and carried on well into the early hours. My town is quite hilly and is tucked between the M25 and M11 and the weather soon brought the area to a standstill.  After checking my route to work this morning, it soon became apparent that I wasn’t going to make it in. I may take unpaid leave or work Friday instead.
My blip was taken first thing this morning , from the back bedroom. The snow doesn’t look as pristine now, as went out to feed the birds and to knock the snow off shrubs . The extra is one of the goldfinches, it’s taken through the patio door so not as crisp as it should be
