Driving home.

One of my favourite Christmas songs is ‘ Driving Home for Christmas.’ sung by Chris Rea.

We were driving home from my sisters, after delivering some cards and presents.
Had a lovely catchup. Unfortunately she had some sad news, which really stunned us. A very old friend of theirs had died a few weeks ago. M was three years younger than MrC. It really came as a shock as we didn’t know he had been ill. Used to go to the Youth Club back in the early 60s.

It has been cold, -2C max .but no snow.
Traveling to my sisters there was just a few yards down in the valley where the trees were covered in frost.
